Ranchi: Police on Wednesday distributed 93 recovered mobile phones to their owners under its ‘operation muskan’ initiative in a function held at the new police line in Ranchi.
Superintendent of police (City) Paras Rana, SP rural Praveen Pushkar, SP traffic Rakesh Singh and other officials gave away the phones to their owners.
Police stated that the mobile phones were either lost or stolen from different places of Ranchi city adding that their locations were found through technical analysis.
Multiple police teams were given the responsibility of finding the phones. Several persons also approached the police and returned the phones after learning about the drive.
