Ranchi District Administration Enhances Police Presence for Safe Durga Puja Celebrations

Ranchi: The Ranchi district administration officials on Sunday took to the streets to review the deployment of police personnel for law and order duties. They also altered the traffic routes to avoid jams during the huge rush of people in the evening for Durga Puja festivities.

The Sadar sub-divisional officer, Utkarsh Kumar, city SP Paras Rana, and Dy SPs, along with constables, conducted a flag march across prominent streets of the city.

The SDO said, “The administration and police teams are keeping a continuous vigil to ensure a safe Durga Puja for citizens.” The City SP stated that additional forces were deployed at all sensitive areas of the city.
