Ranchi Children Missing: Police Intensify Search, DGP Monitoring Investigation
Ranchi: Even as police are yet to recover two children aged four and five years who went missing from Dhurwa area of Ranchi city on Friday, a delegation comprising RJD state spokesperson Kailash Yadav and the concerned father Sunil Yadav met the Director General of Police (DGP) Tadasha Mishra and demanded steps for their safe return.Later on, Yadav stated that the DGP mentioned that she is personally monitoring the investigation of the case adding that the police are working round the clock to recover the children.Earlier, local people staged a massive dharna at Sheikh Bhikhari Chowk in Dhurwa in support of their demands. Ranchi SSP Rakesh Ranjan met the protestors and informed that a special investigation team comprising SP’s, Dy SPs and in-charge of police stations have been formed to recover the children. He said that police were hopeful of a positive result.
