Ranchi: Police personnel, educational institutes and several district administrations on Friday organized ‘Run for Unity’ to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In Ranchi, SP (Rural) Pravin Pushkar led a team of officers and jawans a 4 km-run which began from Police Lines and traversed through various areas of the city. Similar runs were held in Seraikela-Kharsawan, Lohardaga, Palamu, Hazaribag, Khunti and Chatra districts.
At Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), the celebration aimed to strengthen cooperation between the university and its alumni. Oxford Public School observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and Vigilance Awareness Week 2025.
At Surendranath Centenary School, students from both junior and senior wings showcased their patriotism through a skit titled Ekta ka Sutra and a dance performance 'Lauh Purush (Iron Man)', celebrating the indomitable spirit of Sardar Patel. Principal Samita Sinha encouraged students to uphold the values of unity and integrity in their daily lives.
