PM's brother meets family

Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brother Prahlad Modi visited the village of Vinay Mahto on Thursday and interacted with the his family.
The family members sought his help for a CBI probe into the murder. "I had a talk with chief minister Raghubar Das and he has assured that the family will get justice," he told the parents .
"I will apprise my elder brother about the situation of this family and request him to explore if a CBI probe is needed in the case," he told media persons.
Prahlad Modi is in Jharkhand for the last couple of days. He has visited Gumla to take part in some social work. On his way back he was informed about the incident and he expressed his willingness to pay a visit to the family members of Vinay who belongs to Other Backward Class - a class to which Modi also belongs.
The family members have demanded CBI probe after rejecting the theory of love-affair in which the son of the Hindi teacher with the help of his mother killed Vinay and destroyed the evidences.
"The police have hatched this theory to protect the school management. We want CBI inquiry," Vinay's mother Kashila Devi said.
The family members have rejected the 'love affair' theory and demanded CBI probe. Modi assured them that he would brief Narendra Modi on the subject.
