BOKARO: Bokaro has once again proved its excellent performance in the field of education going by this year’s CBSE board results, which were announced on Friday.
An analysis of the results revealed that 576 students in eight premier schools of Bokaro have secured 90% and above in the Class XII board examinations. The maximum number of 223 children are from DPS Bokaro, 127 from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, 96 from GGPS, 42 from Ayyappa Public School, 19 from Adarsh Vidya Mandir of Pentecostal School, 18 from DAV, and 17 from MGM Higher Secondary School have scored above 90%.
DPS Bokaro principal A S Gangwar said, “It is an outcome of self belief, hard work, perseverance, and grit. I congratulate the teachers, the students and their parents for the success and bless the students for their bright future.” This time too, girls topped in most of the schools. Neha Kumari Bhagat of DPS Bokaro secured 98.6% marks in Commerce stream. Aadhya Gupta of Chinmaya Vidyalaya secured 98.6% and Anushka Srivastava of Pentecostal School Assembly secured 97.8% in Humanities. Ayush Amalam from DPS Bokaro, besides Lal Bahadur Mausam, Atithi Chauhan and Ritsha Ranjan of Chinmaya Vidyalaya scored 98.4% in science.
