Chatra: Employees of the NTPC-owned 1980 MW North Karanpura superthermal power station in the industrial town of Tandwa took out a candle march on Tuesday evening demanding justice for the slain DGM (dispatch) Kumar Gaurav. The employees also demanded security for all NTPC officials and staff, and asked the state govt to give a martyr status to the deceased, pay compensation of Rs 10 crore to his dependents and a job.Ahead of the march, the protesters held a condolence meeting and paid tribute to the deceased officer. On Monday evening, a similar march was taken out in Hazaribag. They demanded a CBI inquiry into the murder. Meanwhile, police said the registration number used by the two killers for the bike they used in the crime was fake. The duo escaped towards the Besh Resham area in Hazaribag, they added.
