NOIDA: The operation of the Tata-Danapur-Tata Express will soon commence from Ara instead of Danapur. The railway has initiated preparations for this change. However, the announcement regarding the starting date of the train's operation from Ara has not been made yet.
Additionally, the East Central Railway is preparing to operate the Rajendra Nagar-Durg-Rajendra Nagar (South Bihar Express), Rajendra Nagar-Howrah-Rajendra Nagar Express, and Patna-Hatia-Patna (Patliputra Express) from Ara as well.
Timings and Schedule from Ara
According to information received from the railway, the distance between Danapur and Ara is 39 kilometers. This train will take approximately 45 minutes for the journey between Danapur and Ara. Train number 18183, Tata-Danapur Express, will depart from Tatanagar at 8:15 AM and arrive in Danapur at 7:30 PM. After a five-minute halt, it will depart from Danapur at 7:35 PM and reach Ara at 8:30 PM. Similarly, train number 18184, Danapur-Tata Express, will depart from Danapur at 4:45 AM and arrive in Tatanagar at 5:15 PM after a five-minute halt in Danapur at 5:45 AM.
Ara's Member of Parliament Seeks Direct Train Service to Tata
Ara's Member of Parliament and Union minister of State for Energy, RK Singh, met with high-ranking railway officials to discuss several important train operations from Ara. Through his Twitter account, he informed about the meeting where he requested feasibility studies for operating the Patna-Manduadih Jan Shatabdi Express (15125/26), Rajendra Nagar-Durg South Bihar Express (13287/88), Rajendra Nagar-Howrah Express (12351/52), Patna-Hatia-Patna (Patliputra Express) (18621/22), and Danapur-Tatanagar (18183/84) from and up to Ara. He also proposed a feasibility study for a new train from Ara to Dhanbad-Jamshedpur. During these discussions, the doubling of the Ara-Sasaram railway line was also considered. Singh also urged officials to run the Ara-Ranchi train, which currently operates three days a week, on a daily basis.
Jamshedpur MP's Demand to Extend Train Service to Buxar
Jamshedpur's Member of Parliament, Bidyut Baran Mahato, has previously demanded the extension of the Durg-Rajendra Nagar-Durg South Bihar Express or Tata-Danapur-Tata Super Express to Buxar. He has already discussed this with the Railway minister.
