NML signs MoU for e-waste tech transfer

Jamshedpur: The National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML Jamshedpur), a unit of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) signed a technology transfer agreement with the Delhi-based Novasensa Recycling Company, on Tuesday for setting up an e-waste recycling plant.
Novasensa will purchase the e-waste technology from NML, which will help it extract precious metals like non-ferrous metals.
“NML has transferred many indigenous technologies to Indian firms. We will transfer more technologies to make India an e-waste free society,” said NML director Avanish Kumar Srivastava. TNN
