RANCHI: The house Anamika Nandi, the second wife of Sanjeevani Buildicon managing director J D Nandi, will be attached on Saturday. Nandi along with seven of his associates is accused of forgery involving crores of rupees. A local court on Thursday had given permission to the police to attach the properties of all of the accused. Investigating officer Arvind Sinha said while the house of Nandi, 'Karan Villa', in Cheshire Home locality would be attached on Saturday, properties of others would be attached later.
Anamika Nandi, Shyam Kishore Gupta, P P Lala, Arvind Singh alias Pappu, Ram Prasad Verma, Abdul Baham and Shamim Khan are other accused. Police suspect that all thee accused have escaped to foreign countries or to other states. Sinha added that the office of J D Nandi at GEL Church Complex would also be searched on Saturday.
