DALTONGANJ: Chief minister
Arjun Munda is scheduled to arrive here from Ranchi by road on November 28.
The chief minister will review the road condition in Chhaterpur assembly segment, where he will visit Nawa Bazaar and Chhaterpur. He will also inspect the roads falling under Vishrampur constituency like Brahmoriya and Rehla.
The CM will also inspect NH-98 which connects Jharkhand to Bihar.
The worst patch of road is between Satbarwa and Daltonganj on NH-75. If Munda comes by road then it will be his third visit this year so.
However, sources in the Naxalite outfits have hinted at a day's bandh to protest the killing of Kishenji. Though there is no final word on the bandh if it convened during Munda's visit it could spell trouble.
The sources said road-opening parties would be active as the route from Ranchi to Daltonganj has many small bridges, culverts and a valley, which are highly vulnerable to the Maoists designs.
So all fingers are crossed over the proposed road tour of the CM, who will spend the night in Garhwa district on November 29.
