Monsoon hits city, lightning kills 4 in dists

Gumla/Hazaribag: Four persons, including two school students and a 10-year-old boy, died while three others sustained injuries in four incidents of lightning strikes in Gumla and Hazaribag districts on Monday and Tuesday even as monsoon showers hit Ranchi, officials said. The deceased were identified as Deepak Sahu (12) of Madwa Tetartoli village and Sabita Kumari (14) of Barwatoli village under Kuhipat panchayat, besides Soma Oraon (60) of Chingri village under Duko panchayat of Gumla district.
