Minor cousins drown while bathing in Barhi

Hazaribag: Two minor boys, aged seven and five years, drowned in a pond at a village here while taking a bath on Sunday. Cousins Kush Kumar (7) and Suryansh Kumar (5), residents of Singpur Oriya village under Barhi police station limits, went to bathe in a dobha (a small pond) when they drowned. “Locals heard their screams and rushed in to help, but they had drowned by then,” Barhi SDPO Ajit Kumar Vimal said.
