Maoist arrested by Giridih police in Bokaro
Bokaro: Giridih police arrested Talo Marandi, also known as Sunil Marandi, a member of the banned CPI Maoist outfit on Monday near Cholkho river under the Bhelwaghati police station area.
Talo is a resident of Nehaldih in Jamui district of Bihar. He was arrested by a police team, led by additional superintendent of police (operation) Surjeet Kumar, based on information received by SP Bimal Kumar. On Tuesday, the SP confirmed the case.
The SP said that on Monday evening, Marandi, a wanted accused in the Naxalite cases of Bhelwaghati police station, was going to his relative's house on foot from his house along with his family through the forest route via Cholkho River in village Baliyari.
