Man kills alcoholic bro by slitting throat in Palamu

DALTONGANJ: A man killed his elder brother after making him drink alcohol and later slitting his throat and dumping him on the railway track after tying his hands with a sari to make it look like an accident in Palamu, police said on Tuesday.

Bishrampur SDPO Surjit Kumar said, "The two brothers - Ajay Ram (34)and Ashish Ram (26) of Tukbera village under the Nawa bazar police station were always fighting because Ajay was an alcoholic. Ajay used to beat and humiliate Ashish almost daily. Ashish then hatched a plan to eliminate him."

On May 17, Ashish first offered free drinks to Ajay and made him drunk so that he could kill him.
