Man, 2 daughters among 3 killed in Godda
Dumka: A man and his two minor daughters died after the motorcycle in which they were riding was hit by a school bus under Boarijore police station area of Godda district on Monday. His wife, however, is battling for life in Rims in Ranchi, police said on Tuesday.The deceased persons were identified as Jafar Ansari (37) of Asanbani Mohalla of Godda district, Sumaiya Parween (9) and Sumera Parween (7). The injured has been identified as Gunjan Parween (31). The school bus was carrying around 30 children for the summer camp when it hit the motorcycle coming from the opposite side near Jatra turnover under Boarijore police station. Police said the driver of the bus lost his control as one of its front tyres exploded and rammed into the motorcycle. “The kin of the deceased would be provided compensation of Rs 1 Lakh each by the state government,” Godda SP Nathu Singh Meena said. tnn
