Lens on three for forging e-challans

Daltonganj: The district agriculture officer at Palamu, Arun Kumar Singh, has lodged an FIR against three persons for siphoning off Rs 2.94 lakh through forged e-challans. “A total of 138 forged e-challans were issued for seeds, fertilizers and pesticides for the renewal of licences,” Singh said on Friday. Of the three accused, two are Singh’s assistants while the third one is a middleman.
The accused were identified as Pradeep Kumar, Sachin Kumar and Rahul Kumar.All three are absconding at the moment.
