DHANBAD: Keeping in view the job market requirements, the department of management studies at Indian School of Mines University (ISM) is organizing a leadership skill development programme for its students.
Member of the department Pramod Pathak said that companies want students to develop technical skills before hiring them. The department has hired acclaimed professionals for the course. tnn sides, students also expressed their desire to enhance their proficiency through a leadership orientation programme. The department has contemplated a 10-hour module for the skill development programme and has hired acclaimed professionals to conduct the certificate course.
The two external resource persons being roped in for the course are Dicky Mody, former chief of TATA Development Management Centre and Vishwanath Sarangi group president (HR) of Adhunik Group.
