Ranchi: Following rumours doing rounds on social media on Saturday that cabinet ministers Hafizul Hasan and Jagarnath
Mahto
have been banned from the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) stadium, the
JSCA
officials said no such decision has been taken.
Talking to TOI, JSCA secretary Debashish Chatterjee said: “This came as a surprise to me as no such proposal even came up during the annual general meeting on Saturday. If JSCA plans anything, it will be announced officially. Though state cricket associations have the power to ban an individual’s entry, as seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s case, nothing of that sort is on the cards .”

actor was banned from Wankhede for five years after he got into a brawl with security and the Mumbai Cricket Association at the stadium after
Kolkata Knight Riders
won a match against
Mumbai Indians on May 16, 2012.
A close aid of Mahto said, “We haven’t received any such communication.”
