Jayant Sinha for banking on doorstep

Hazaribag: Union minister of state for finance Jayant Sinha while inaugurating the fourth branch of HDFC Bank in the district on Wednesday in Moonka Bagicha locality of the town said it is the policy of the Centre to provide banks to the customers at their doorstep which will benefit them in transaction and getting maximum benefits from the schemes launched by the Centre.
He also said his aim is to provide the best banking facilities to the customers of Hazaribag and Ramgarh districts which will play a significant role in the fast growth of the area.
Sinha said that a decision has also been taken to provide payment facilities by establishing payment banks in grocery shops, railway stations, bus terminals and other important places so that people need not rush to draw money in the hour of need.
He said arrangement of payments through the payment banks have been made with several lead banks which will see that customers do not face any difficulty in drawing money from them. Sinha also said that with a view to eliminate red tape, governments flagship schemes will be linked to banks .
