Jamtara Place of Worship Vandalized: Police Investigate, CCTV Footage Reviewed

Jamtara: Unknown miscreants vandalised a place of worship under Town police station limits in Jamtara late on Saturday night.

The matter came to light on Sunday morning when a local resident, Daisy Devi, arrived at the place for her daily prayers and found it in a damaged condition. News spread quickly, drawing committee members and local residents to the spot. Officer-in-charge Manoj Kumar Mahto spoke to residents and pacified them, assuring swift action. Police said CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined and efforts are on to identify the accused.
