Jamshedpur Literature Festival 2024: East Singhbhum Celebrates Culture & Heritage

Jamshedpur: The first literature festival of the East Singhbhum district administration will begin on Friday. The three-day fest, organised at Gopal Maidan from Jan 9-11, will witness participation by noted writers, authors, poets, historians, thinkers, and cultural artists from different parts of the country.

Organised to promote literature, culture, and art, besides the preservation of tribal heritage, the event will witness the participation of renowned litterateurs, namely Padma Shri Dr Pushpesh Pant, Padma Shri Jaanum Singh Soy, and Padma Shri Haldhar Nag, among others.

The purpose of the festival is to bring the masses and literature on one platform. “The event will help put East Singhbhum on the literature map of the country,” DC Karn Satyarthi said.
