J P Nadda to inaugurate BJP offices in Deoghar and Gumla today
Dumka: BJP national president and Union health minister J P Nadda arrived in Deoghar on a chartered flight at about 8 pm on Friday. He will attend different party programmes in the temple town on Saturday and hold a meeting with the state BJP core committee at the Circuit House here.
Nadda will also perform a puja at the Baba Baidyanath Temple on Saturday, where he will be welcomed by the Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha, the local priests’ body. Nadda will also honour the Sardar Panda, Gulab Nand Jha, the high priest of the Babadham temple, on the occasion, apart from meeting the priests affiliated with the saffron party, party sources said.
State BJP secretary, Ganesh Mishra, said Nadda would participate in the RSS centenary public relations programme at the temple after performing the puja rituals. “He will be welcomed by different social organisations at the Tower Chowk,” he said.
After the temple visit at 10 am, Nadda will inaugurate the BJP office in Deoghar and address booth-level workers from the Santhal Pargana and 12 surrounding districts at a grand tent erected near the office. He will also inaugurate BJP offices in Gumla district online.
Mishra expressed that the national president’s visit has generated great enthusiasm among the party workers.
During his visit, Nadda will also go to AIIMS, Deoghar, on Saturday evening to hold a dialogue with doctors, faculty members, and new MBBS students. He will then depart for New Delhi in the evening.
“The visit of our national party president is purely an organisational one and has nothing to do with political speculations doing the rounds,” Mishra added.
