IIT Dhanbad Launches International Conference on Digital Intelligence for Green Mining

Dhanbad: As part of its centenary celebrations, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on Friday inaugurated a two-day International Conference on Digital Intelligence for Green Mining and Industrial Networks (DIGMIN 2025).

The conclave brought together global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to deliberate on the future of mining in the digital age.

The event, organised by the department of mining engineering at the Golden Jubilee Lecture Theatre, has attracted more than 150 technical papers from India and abroad.

It is being billed as the country’s first focused conference on Mining 5.0 and the six “S” principles—Safety, Sustainability, Smartness, Standardization, Simulation, and Synergy.
