Hazaribag Sub-Inspector Anil Paswan Dies in Tragic Road Accident

Hazaribag: A sub-inspector identified as Anil Paswan, posted in JAP-7 in Padma block of Hazaribag district, died in a road accident on Thursday. Paswan, who was on duty at Chordaha had attended a police meeting at the JAP-7 headquarters in Padma and was returning. While crossing the road near Padma Gate to catch a bus, he was hit by a high-speeding bike coming from the other side. The accident left Paswan and three people on the bike injured. Locals rushed them to a nearby hospital, but Paswan succumbed to his injuries on the way. Three others, including a woman, are under treatment with one in critical condition. JAP-7 SP Avinash Kumar said investigation into the accident is underway.
