Hazaribag DC Inspects Medical College: Patient Care, Parking, and Medicine Access Reviewed

Hazaribag: Deputy Commissioner Hemant Sati on Tuesday inspected Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital to take stock of the patient care services and healthcare facilities. Sati also reviewed parking arrangements on campus and took stock of the availability and number of ambulances. He directed civic body officials to streamline parking management for better traffic flow inside the hospital premises.Noting the high patient load, Sati instructed officials to increase the number of Jan Aushadhi centres and medicine counters so that patients can access essential drugs in a timely and hassle-free manner. “He also assessed critical infrastructure including cold chain systems and electricity supply,” a statement issued by the district administration said.
