Hazaribag AIR technician goes missing

HAZARIBAG: Mystery shrouds the disappearance of a 45-year-old technician of All India Radio (AIR) after he got off Bhuwaneshwar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Koderma around 10pm on September 29.
Sources in the local AIR said when R K Sharma did not reach Hazaribag till Friday afternoon after getting off from the train, his wife and some of the colleagues tried to contact him on his cellphone but found it switched off.
This aroused more suspicion in the minds of Sharma's family members and ultimately lodged an FIR with Jhumri Telaiya police station.
Koderma SP Shambhu Thakur said although police would investigate all angles of the but expressed doubts over the kidnapping. "Police are making efforts to locate the missing technician."
The missing incident came close on the heels of the reported abduction of an employee of a ralway construction company recently.
