Government school teacher dies as tree branch falls on him

LOHARDAGA: A government school teacher who was injured after a branch of a tree fell on him died, while another teacher was injured in Kuru block on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as 45-yr-old Karma Oraon. "He died near Mandar on way to Ranchi," said police. The injured teacher Khurshid Ansari has been admitted to the Chanho block hospital. Both the teachers were returning home to Hanhat from the Government Middle School at Kakkargarh village.T hey had taken shelter under an old banyan tree. A branch of the tree fell on them.
Karma was badly injured. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to RIMS. The other injured teacher is out of danger," police added.
