Ranchi: Girls clinch top 4 spots in JAC matric, +2 exams

Ranchi: Six students, including five girls, topped the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) matriculation examination scoring 98% each. In the intermediate (science) examinations, the top four positions were also secured by girls with Priya Kumari of Inter Science College, Hazaribag securing the first position with 97.8 per cent.
Education minister Jagarnath Mahto on Tuesday announced the results of the matriculation and the intermediate (science) examinations conducted by JAC in March and April 2022.The arts and the commerce examinations results would be declared later.
The matriculation toppers are Abhijit Sharma of SRK High School, Bistupur, Tannu Kumari of + 2 High School, Boarijore, Taniya Sah and Nishu Kumari of Carmel High School, Chakradharpur, Riya Kumari of Girls High School, Hazaribagh and Nisha Verma of Indira Gandhi Balika High School.
