Former Maoist turned politician eyes ticket from Palamu again

Daltonganj: Former Maoist leader and politician Kameshwar Baitha, who previously served as the MP of Palamu in 2009 under the JMM symbol, accused BJP of pursuing politics of ‘toe its line or go to jail’.
Speaking to TOI, Baitha said, “BJP is driving the country towards dictatorship. Hemant Soren has been jailed. Arvind Kejriwal is being issued summons after summons and Nitish Kumar returned to the BJP-led NDA. The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) is working at the command of BJP. Akhilesh Yadav is being harassed.”
The former Maoist leader, a staunch votary of the INDIA bloc, is now in RJD. “I am confident that the INDIA bloc will give me ticket to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Palamu seat.” Get the latest lifestyle updates on Times of India, along with Holi wisheswishes, messages and quotes !
