First Bhojpuri film to hit 60 screens

'Rampur Ka Laxman', directed by Harry Fernandez of Mumbai and produced by Chandan Singh of Hazaribag, will be the first Bhojpuri film to hit 60 screens in Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh simultaneously on January 26.

HAZARIBAG: ‘Rampur Ka Laxman', directed by Harry Fernandez of Mumbai and produced by Chandan Singh of Hazaribag, will be the first Bhojpuri film to hit 60 screens in Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh simultaneously on January 26.
The young producer said on Saturday that the premier of the film would be attended by Hazaribagh MP Yashwant Sinha at Laxmi cinema complex on January 24.

Singh said several actors, including Ravi Kishan, Sabnam Seth, Akansha Singh, had acted in the movie. The film was shot in Mumbai and partly in Jharkhand. He said this was his second venture of producing a film in Bhojpuri after Ram Balram' released a couple of years ago.
Ravi Kishan, the hero of the film, said he preferred to act in small-budget Bhojpuri films only to promote the Bhojpuri culture and would continue to do the same in future. "This will help the Bhojpuri talents get an exposure in the Bollywood."
