Eight arrested for killing cops in Deoghar

Dumka: Deoghar police arrested eight persons in connection with the gunfight in Machhli Bazar locality under Town police station limits in Deoghar district on February 11, in which two policemen were killed.
The deceased policemen were identified as Ravi Mishra and Santosh Yadav.
They were deployed as the bodyguards of local trader Sudhakar Suman Jha whose house was allegedly attacked by his rival Pappu Singh of the same locality.
Deoghar police on Thursday said three FIRs were lodged at Town police station.
Those arrested were identified as Sudhakar Suman Jha, Putti Devi, Dashrath Kumar, Devlal Hembrom, Priyesh Kumar, Anand Kumar, Priyanshu Kumar and Vishal Kumar.
