“If there’s any report of cheating, action will be taken against the respective person. Besides, examination center heads have been directed to make sure no examinee adopts dishonest methods to write the paper,” said DC Vijaya Jadhav.
She added that police teams will be deployed at all the centers to assist the officials in holding the exams in a peaceful manner. All the officials at the center will have to put on identity cards and no unauthorised person will be allowed to enter the exam centers, she said.
Dhalbhum SDO Piyush Sinha and SDO (Ghatshila) Satyaveer Rajak chaired the meeting of magistrates on Saturday where the focus was on ensuring fair conduct of the exams. In the first half of the day (10 am to 1 pm), matriculation exams will be held. In second half (2-5 pm), intermediate exams will be conducted.
Earlier on Friday, the DC, in an online pep talk, motivated the examinees to put in their best effort in the exam. “Be composed and don't let negative thoughts get into your mind. Walk into the examination center with a positive frame of mind,” the DC told 14,000 students, who attended the “pariksha par charcha” talk.

Further, sharing the success tips for exams, the DC told the students to follow time management and be specific in answering the questions.
“If you have put in your sincere efforts and prepared well all through the year, then there’s no big challenge in taking the exams,” DC said.
The Class 10 board exam will conclude on April 3 and the Class 12 exam on April 5.
