Deer rescued from dam

Hazaribag: Two fishermen rescued a deer from Konar dam here on Thursday. District forest officials said the deer had ventured out of a nearby forest in search of water and began to drown while it ventured into the reservoir to drink. "After learning about it, a forest department team reached the spot. Later, deer was safely taken by them," said forester Sandip Das. Das said the deer was provided respiratory treatment to help it recover from shock. Later, it was released in the nearby forest. TNN
