Country-made gun found in abandoned car

Ranchi: Acting on a tip-off regarding a suspicious vehicle near Kanta Toli area here, police on Sunday seized a car near Chunwa Toli. The car was found abandoned, with police stating that a loaded country-made pistol was found under the driver’s seat during a search. During questioning, locals informed that three youths were occupants of the car. The youths have been identified, the police stated, adding that all of them have criminal antecedents and further steps are being taken in this regard.
