Cops-Maoist gunfight case: Court accepts CBI closure report

Ranchi: A special court on Tuesday accepted the closure report filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with Bakoria police-Maoist encounter.
According to police, 12 CPI (Maoist) ultras were killed in an encounter with police in Palamu district in June 2015. The police version was, however, challenged and the high court ordered a CBI inquiry into the incident.The CBI had submitted its report last April stating that police version was true.
