Cong names conveners, in-charges for 14 LS seats

Ranchi: Jharkhand Congress on Tuesday appointed in-charges and convenors for each of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand ahead of the next year’s parliamentary elections. State Congress president Rajesh Thakur said the party is gearing up to become poll-ready and at the same time focussing on organisational overhaul.
According to the notification, senior party worker Mani Shankar is appointed as convenor for Rajmahal seat and Poriyahat MLA Pradeep Yadav is made its in-charge. In Dumka, Sultan Ahmed is convener and Mahagama MLA Deepika Pandey Singh the in-charge; Godda convener is K N Jha and rural development minister Alamgir Alam is its in-charge; Chatra’s convenor is Jaishankar Pathak and RS MP Dheeraj Prasad Sahu is in-charge; Anwar Ansari is Koderma convenor and agriculture minister Badal Patralekh is in-charge.
