The initiative aims to ensure that meritorious students are no longer compelled to migrate outside the state for high-quality coaching, he said.
Hemant also unveiled the statue of his father and paid floral tributes on the occasion. He also inspected the institute's premises and interacted with students, encouraging them to pursue their academic goals with confidence and determination.
Addressing the gathering, Hemant also said, “The state's youth will now be able to realise their dreams without leaving the state. Our children will now get high-quality JEE and NEET coaching right here in Ranchi.”
He described the institute as not merely a centre of education but also a symbol of social and cultural unity. Appealing to the students to respect and share their language, culture, and traditions, the CM said such exchanges would further strengthen diversity and collective identity.
“Deserving candidates who narrowly missed qualifying marks in the ability test should be given another opportunity. Due to situational factors, students sometimes fail to demonstrate their true potential, and providing a second chance would be both just and motivating. It would help broaden the talent base,” he said.
The chief minister also stressed the need to strengthen sports facilities alongside academics at the institute. He appealed to the teachers to instil self-belief and healthy competition so that students could excel not only at the state level but also nationally.
During the event, the CM highlighted several flagship initiatives of his govt, including the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, pre and post-matric scholarship schemes, the establishment of 80 model schools, the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship Scheme, and the Guruji Credit Card Scheme, under which students can avail education loans of up to Rs 15 lakh. He also informed that specialised coaching for medical entrance examinations is being provided to selected students at Rims in Ranchi.
