City college students protest dismissal of history professor

Ranchi : Several girls students of Nirmala College protested in front of the institute on Wednesday against the dismissal of Anjana Singh, the head of the history department since 2005.The student complained to the administration about mismanagement and rotation of teachers, because of which their curricula are not completed. They said, "The professor was dedicated to the course outline and used to complete the syllabus even by taking extra classes. She was removed without warning."Principal Sister Jyoti said, "We served the notice of her termination in advance. She was fired for being against the management."
