Chas doctor assault case: 2 more held

Bokaro: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday night arrested two accused from a hotel at Jaina More under Jaridih police station limits for the October 2 assault on Dr Irfan Ansari. Two loaded pistols, cartridges, mobile and a motorcycle were seized from their possession, police said.
The accused, both residents of Jamui in Bihar, have been identified as Shadab Sahebi and Muzammil.
DSP (City) Kuldeep Dwivedi said, “The surgeon was returning home in his car from Muskaan Hospital located in Chas last Wednesday. As he reached Tetulia under Sector-12 police station limits, the accused fired on his vehicle. A case was registered against six accused at Sector-12 police station and SIT was formed.”
“SIT on October 12 arrested accused Ali Raza, Faizan Ali, Sajid Hussain and Mohd Danish. The remaining two accused were arrested last night when they had come to meet their girlfriends,” the DSP added. tnn
