Centre approved 2 more road projects for Ranchi: Sanjay Seth

Ranchi: Ministry of road transport & highways have approved two more road projects for Ranchi as long time solution to address growing traffic in the capital district, mainly on its outer circles.Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth on Friday announced that his proposal pertaining to an overbridge near Rampur Chowk on NH-33 on Ranchi outskirts and an underground tunnel near Vikas Chowk in Irba, Ormanjhi on Ranchi-Hazaribag part of NH-33 has formally been approved by the ministry."Govt of India has given approval to these projects. I have received communications in this regard stating that the tender process has also been initiated,” Seth, who is also an MoS in the Centre, said.“At both these locations, there is a major traffic problem on the national highway due to movement of scores of vehicles daily. Along with this, there is always a risk of accidents. I have been making efforts for several months on this front so that people commuting at both locations do not face any problems," he said, adding that once the two projects are ready, vehicular movements will be smooth and area will be free from any risk of accidents.
