Central agencies working as allies of NDA, claims Brinda

Ranchi: CPM politburo member Brinda Karat on Tuesday said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government, the Enforcement Directorate, Central Bureau of Investigation and Income Tax department have become close allies of NDA alliance.She further said that her party’s central committee condemned former CM Hemant Soren’s arrest. The action against taken Soren would have adverse impact on the BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections, she added. She demanded that the false case against Soren be withdrawn and he should be allowed to do his work.After the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhaya, the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath mentioned about the temple-mosque controversies in Mathura and Varanasi, which means that BJP is uncertain of its victory in the coming general elections and is trying to polarise the public.On party’s plans for Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand, Karat said that CPM is discussing various seats. She said that the JMM should call for a meeting on the seat sharing talks, she further said.
