Bokaro: The BSL management on Friday served eviction notices to more than two dozen shops, operating in encroached space close the airport boundary wall in Sector 12, and directed them to relocate within a fortnight. The move, officials said, is aimed at clearing the decks for obtaining approval to operate flights from the airport.
Manikant Dhan, BSL’s chief of communication, said, “Notices have been pasted at the meat shops and other shops at Sector 12 Moad under Section 3 and Section 5(A)(1) of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971.
Failure to remove the encroachments within the given timeframe will lead to forced eviction, and any loss incurred will be borne solely by the encroachers.”
