Bokaro school students celebrate silver jubilee

More than 1500 students along with cricketer Saurabh Tiwary and archer Mangal Singh Champia participated in 'Prabhat Pheri' to mark the 25th anniversary of Sree Ayyappa Public School (SAPS) here on Thursday.

BOKARO: More than 1500 students along with cricketer SaurabhTiwary and archer Mangal Singh Champia participated in 'PrabhatPheri' to mark the 25th anniversary of SreeAyyappa Public School (SAPS) here on Thursday.
The five-day silver jubilee function started on a high note. The celebrations will see a rich line-up of events through the five days. Debates, sports competitions and cultural programmes have been lined up to enthrall the audiences.

The function flagged off by Tiwary saw students cover the distance from Sree Ayyappa Temple to the school.
Tiwary said, "It is only through hardwork that we can succeed in any field. Physical fitness can be achieved through participation in various sports."
Director SAPS S S Mahapatra and principal Letha Mohanan said it was a proud moment for them as the Silver Jubilee National Fest-2013 will conclude on June 30.
