Bokaro: A 62-year-old man was found lying in a pool of blood in the Co-operative Colony under City police station limits late on Saturday night.
The injured was identified as Ashokan A P, a resident of the colony and native of Kerala. Police shifted him to Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Doctors said he sustained deep cuts on both sides of his neck caused by a sharp weapon. A cut mark was also found on his hand.
Police recovered a knife, a slipper and a suicide note from the scene. Blood samples were also collected for forensic examination.
He was working as a contractual worker at Bokaro Steel Limited through Primetal Private Limited.
Bokaro superintendent of police Harvinder Singh said, “A suicide note mentioning pension-related issues and stress was recovered. However, we are probing all angles and cannot rule out the possibility of any foul play at this stage.”
