Bokaro: The Bokaro half marathon turned the city into a vibrant sporting arena on Sunday as nearly 5,000 runners from across the country took part in the event. Athletes competed in multiple categories, testing their endurance along key city stretches amid strong public support.
The race, organised by Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), began in the early hours, with participants assembling at the starting point under tight organisational and security arrangements. Adequate medical facilities, hydration booths, and traffic management measures were put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Volunteers were stationed along the route to assist runners and coordinate logistics.
