Bokaro Elephant Alert: Herds Spotted Near Gomia Villages, Forest Dept Issues Warning
Bokaro: The forest department on Tuesday issued an alert in several villages under Gomia block of the district after two separate herds of elephants were spotted in nearby forest areas, reports Divy Khare. According to forest officer Sundeep Shinde, one herd was sighted near Jageshwar, while another group is moving in the Gangpur-Dharampur belt. Villages in Mahuatand, Jageshwar and Barki Punnu areas have been placed on high alert.
