Bokaro Celebrates Vijaya Dashami: Ravan Dahan and Colorful Idol Immersion Mark the Festivities

Bokaro: The district celebrated Vijaya Dashami with grandeur on Thursday with Ravan Dahan lighting up the Railway Ground followed by colourful idol immersion rituals. Despite rainfall, devotees rejoiced with dhak, dhol, and traditional Sindoor Khela.DC Ajay Nath Jha attended the Ravan Dahan ceremony at Railway Ground as chief guest, along with SP Harvinder Singh and other officials.Meanwhile, Surya Sarovar in Sector-4F became the centre of devotion as several puja committees, including from City Centre, Bang Bharati, Sector-4F, Sector-1 and others immersed idols of Goddess Durga.“To ensure smooth proceedings, police maintained strict vigilance, managing crowds and traffic, allowing the immersion to conclude peacefully and gracefully,” said SP Bokaro.
