BJP nominated women's wing district president Geeta Singh in a compromising position with someone, went viral in the coal belt on Tuesday. This came a day after Geeta was nominated by the current president Chandrashekhar Singh.
Geeta accused her political rivals of trying to malign her image. She added that this kind of propaganda will not affect her career. "I have registered a case in Kenduwadih under the IT act and police said they will probe the issue," she said. Chandrashekhar Singh said he has seen the video and party will probe the matter. If found guilty, appropriate action will be taken against Geeta, Singh added. Meanwhile, district Congress president BP Singh said that the Centre should first make their party 'swachh' before the country.
