Babulal urges CM Hemant Soren to probe illegal stone mining in Sahibganj

Ranchi: State BJP president on Saturday claimed that the state govt has lost mining revenue worth Rs 200 crore after a company mined stones illegally on approximately 20 acres of land in Sahibganj district and urged chief minister Hemant Soren to act into the matter. In a letter, Marandi claimed that one leaseholder Satyanath Sah, who obtained mining lease over four acres in Borio, quarried over 20 acres. The leader of opposition claimed that the leaseholder was district mining officer and the local police station in-charge.
